| Can anyone tell me whether or not I have a right to know who my mortgage investor is? I know it is serviced by Wells Fargo, but they told me that they are not the investor and they won't tell me who is. They say that it is confidential information and they can't tell me who the investor is. Is this true or do I have a right to know? Can I find out by some other means besides asking Wells Fargo? |

| This sucks, but Wells Fargo is right here. You should have a right to know who your mortgage investor is, but you don't. Pretty sad huh? the laws on this need to be changed badly. I truly believe that every home owner should know who invests in his loan. Why should that be kept secret? The consumer should have the right to know. Pathetic!!! Now there may be another means to find out who your loan investor is, but I can't write it here in public. P.M. me if you want to chat about it. :O) |
