Help for a friend with Fremont Inv & Loans A friend of mine has her mortgage with Fremont Investments & Loans. She said her insurance lapsed and Fremont placed forced escrow on her account. Her house was classified as Victorian in error, causing the forced insurance to be majorly HIGH and causing her to be late each month. She has since satisfied getting insurance, but they will not remove the escrow. She also was approved for modification but that has not helped...the payments are as high as they were with original terms. She is now in the 16-30 day window for late payments. What should she do? |
