i am in foreclosure and i keep getting calls and people trying to take my money from these home foreclosure modification company's.

I was reading today that one of these services that i was going to give money to was sued by the attorney general lisa madigan. good thing i didn't give them my money. i also read in the same article that these company's are prohibited from asking for any money up front until all workout agreements are resolved and yet they all do.

I am six months behind on my payments and the bank is refusing to do any type of modification for me because i had one in 2002 and unfortunately fell delinquent again shortly after this due to medical issues/personal issues and some medical issues. is there any hope for someone like me in this situation?My loan was a pretty good loan but was an adjustable with a really low teaser rate for the first five years. been in home for six years.for about a year all i was doing by paying every month was keeping myself out of the foreclosure process. meaning i had sixty day rolling lates for about a year. my payment in December of 2007 was $1174.17 in January 2008 the payment went up to $1356.00 due to the change in the interest rate adjustment.

A couple of weeks later i received notice from the lender that my payment would be going up to $1700.00 due to lack of escrow and they had to pay my taxes and insurance. i cannot afford 1700.00 nor can i afford 1356.00 im only able to afford the 1174.00 now that i haven't made payments to them and was able to build up a little cushion. is there anyone who can help me PLEASE?
