Just like everyone got into big money trouble, no job for 3 years, house payments got behind and I did all the things I was supposed to do... I received about 10 months of forbearance, I eventually filed bankruptcy last year one day before the Sheriff's sale, which stayed that process for awhile, and I thought I would get a new notice of foreclosure sale but I did not. I just got served today with eviction papers and they want me out in 2 weeks. I have no place to go and I have 3 small pets. During this time my mortgage company changed hands, which I did not know until today. Can anyone tell me if filing a complaint with the "Fair Debt Collections Commission" will help???? I had called the mortgage attorney and he talked to me like I was a pig....any help...I am completely open to ideas.
