I have been reading this forum for months while going through the modification program through CW. Here is my story: I began this process in July of last year. I called weekly and was assigned a negotiation, Michael Hernandez, 10/23/07. Since that time I have called weekly, turned in all the necessary documents and still appear to be no closer to modification despite my asking for help. As it stands now, I spoke to Mr. Hernandez almost a month ago. At that time he told me that they would freeze my interest rate (it has adjusted) to the initial rate and that I would not need to make a payment unitl April. He directed me to call back in 10 business days in order to ensure it had been approved, which I did. At that time there was no indication in my file that it had been approved. I called back last week, and have tried him 3 times since then, with no response. I received a notice of default last week, and today have called twice, and left a message with his supervisor (thanks forum for the #). My problem is that I have not documented all my calls..What should I do next?
